PRODUCT FEATURES
2835 S type LED strip lights 300LED, 60LED/M, 8MM wide PCB, 5 meters reel package: this model SMD 2835 LED tape light is in 11.5W/M. it use 2835 SMD that made by branded LED chip, Intermatix phosphor powder, ShinEtsu & Dow Corning glue, Heraeus 99.99% pure golden wire, pure copper bracket. The density of this LED strip light is 60LED per meter and the distance between LED is 5.5mm. It is cut by 3LEDs pitch at 50mm for DC12V input voltage and 6LEDs pitch at 100mm for DC24V input voltage. The PCB(FPC) is 8mm with that double layer with 2OZ solid pure copper thickness(35um for layer) made by Hongqi or Founder the soonest, on the back is 3M adhesive type which is strong sticky, durable to most of the surfaces. 15cm 20AWG wire is on the each end of the LED strip. It is high efficiency LED and also available in higher power than 3528 LED, we l recommend to use it with aluminum extrusion for enhancing the heat dissipation to ensure it maximum working life time and blending in decoration style.

Why the LED strip light from AST lighting is high grade?
- Light source: the LED chip used is from well-known brand such as Epistar, Sanan and we also have other brand LED chip for our clients such as the Philip LED, OSRAM, Samsung, Seoul, Refond, Honglitronic. the LED is with LM-80 approval that ensure the life time is over 50000hrs or more.
- FPC: we have a long corporation with the Hongqi, Founder Soonest which is well-known for the high grade PCB, the PCB is using pure copper and meets the ETL, UL quality standard. 2OZ, 3OZ,4OZ thickness is optional for the LED strip light. and our R&D engineer will investigate and offer suggestion for our client when for custom the PCB.
- Light quality: we offer LED strip with several CRI options for our clients, CRI90, CRI95 is for the application that need to illuminate object with true color and CRI80 is standard one that could have higher lumen output for new ErP requirements for the LED strips.
- Light consistency: we use 1 BIN LED with SDCM<3 for the LED strip lights which means the color is consistency within 1 batch production and also we don't need to worry the color difference from order that placed in different period of time. We are also with the capability that working with the client for custom chromaticity coordinate BIN.
- Customization: we have 16 R&D engineers to work with our customer for custom orders which covers the custom PCB layout, custom shape of neon housing, custom LED profile or the custom connectors for the LED strip light.

Difference between 3 SDCM and 6 SDCM
Waterproof options
- IP65: for indoor moisture protection that the water on rain can’t spary on the product.
- IP67: for rain protection that could not immersed the product under the water for long time running.
- IP68 silicon: for ground installation or occasion that will immerse into the water but could not use in swimming pool or sea side for the silicone is not chlorine resistance.
- IP68 PU: for swimming pool installation or sea side installation that is resistance to chlorine and severe environment.
Installation Guide
- Clean the dirt or strain on the aluminum profile or installation surface be attach the LED strips.
- Cut the LED strip light by the cutting mark between solder pads to the length.
- Solder the cable on LED strip, please avoid the solder gun too close the LED strip light too long of time. The maximum temperature is 350 centigrade, duration 2 seconds. Fast connector could also used for soldering free connection.
- Peel the brown anti-adhesive layer of 3M tape off, please avoid peeling the whole 3M tape off. we could peel the anti-adhesive layer while attach the LED strip on the aluminum profile.
- Attach the LED strip light on the installation surface, please avoid folding, twisting, over bending the LED strips. The minimum bending diameter of LED strip is 50mm.
- Please avoid touch the LEDs during installation and wearing electrostatic ring is recommend during the installation.
- Connect the LED strip light to power supply.

Wiring connection guide for single color LED strip light
For the normal LED strip light without the current management IC, the maximum running length typically is 5 meters in serial connection. When the length is over 5 meters, we need to use parallel wiring.
Then what is serial or parallel connection?
-like above picture shows, the ‘B’ LED strip is connected to the end of ‘A’ LED strip, the ‘A’ and ‘B’ is in serial connection.
-like above picture shows, the ‘C’, ‘D’,’E’ are connected to the power supply separately, the ‘C’, ‘D’,’E’ is in parallel connection.
Sometimes, the space is limited that we can not connect to power in parallel for the LED strip or it is too much trouble, we could consider using the CC LED strip that maximum running length in serial connection is more than 15 meters.
